Border Patrol Deserves Thanks

Share

I was sitting here trying to figure out what was wrong with using Border Patrol agents in cracking down on illegal immigrants in Ventura County. I want to thank the Simi City Council and Police Chief Randy Adams or whoever came up with the idea of using the Immigration and Naturalization Service to help crack down on all illegal activities in their city.

Of course, you will always have some small group of people crying foul when it comes to fighting crime when illegal immigrants are involved. The police and Border Patrol do a thankless job and I for one thank both agencies. I believe every time an illegal immigrant is rounded up, that person should be put on a work detail to help pay for the cost of deporting the individual. If the individual is unable to work, then the government of that illegal immigrant should be charged for the deportation.

If you want Simi Valley to continue being the safest city in America, you should let the City Council, police and the Border Patrol alone to do their job.
