City to Celebrate Its 40th Anniversary

The city will observe the 40th anniversary of its incorporation with a dinner and ceremony March 27. The occasion will kick off a year of celebration, officials said.
Westminster, founded in 1870, was a farm community of 10,000 when it was incorporated in 1957. Last year, it was honored as an All-America City.
Tickets to the anniversary event are $40 a couple.
