Sales on quality crystal and china are always enticing, but here’s one you won’t want to miss: Old World Crystal has decided to shut its doors and is closing out everything in the store. That means reductions of up to 70%.
For instance, a Mikasa 10-inch crystal serving tray that is usually $20 or $15 at the Mikasa outlet store should fly out the door here at $5.99. Also from Mikasa, a 12-inch crystal serving bowl that retails for $30, priced at the outlet for $20, is $9.99 in this sale.
For those who treasure the Capodimonte baskets with flowers, there’s a 6-inch-high design for $5.95 that generally sells for $20. And who has enough bud vases? Royal Crystal Rock, a manufacturer from Northern Italy, makes a lovely one that you’ll find elsewhere for $25 but can pick up here for $10.95.
Another buy from that firm is a 9-inch crystal bowl in the opera pattern that some stores sell for $50, tagged here at $14.95.
Need I go on?
Swarovski jewelry is 40% to 50% off regular retail and their figurines are reduced by 20%. Some collectibles, such as Lladro, Disney figurines and Armani, are among the reduced items.
The sale ends and the store closes March 30. Sorry to see this charming store go.
