Car Registration

Share

The DMV sends your automobile registration renewal bill to you two months before it is due. Some of us diligent, cooperative citizens pay it soon after receiving it. If you change your mind about registering the car (maybe you trade it in before the due date), you will not get a refund from the DMV once it has your money. I tried six weeks before the due date to cancel this advance payment for something I did not need. I am told there is no way you can get your money back! Believe me, my cooperation with the DMV to this extent stops now. My payments will be postmarked on the due date.
