World Animation Festival Continues
The first World Animation Celebration, designed to attract both fans and professionals, continues a one-week run today at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and nearby locations.
It will also celebrate the art of animation, past and present, in all its diversity, attempting to offer programs appealing to a variety of tastes in animation.
Among the many key events: the International Business Conference of Television Animation; the International Animation Competition; the World Animation 2000, in which 2,000 high school and college students will break into teams to create feature-length animation films in fewer than 10 hours; and a Careers in Animation presentation.
