SUNRISE EASTER SERVICES: There will be several sunrise Easter services around the Valley on Sunday.

* An interdenominational service will be conducted by clergy from several Westlake Village-area churches at 6 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park and Mortuary, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Information: (805) 495-0837.

* The Burbank Church of Religious Science will hold a sunrise service at 5:30 a.m. at the Crystal Springs area of Griffith Park. Information: (818) 848-4158.

* A Spanish-language Easter sunrise service, featuring the 80-voice United Choir and Small Orchestra of the Hispanic Baptist Churches of the American Southwest, will be held at 6 a.m. at Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection at Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks, 1712 S. * The Mt. McGroarty sunrise service will begin at 5:30 a.m. with clergy and church members from the Sunland-Tujunga area renewing the 72nd annual rite atop the rocky peak. Kiwanis Club members will start transporting worshipers up the hill beginning at 4:30 a.m. from an assembly point at Foothill Boulevard and Hillhaven Avenue. The Rev. * A traditional intercommunity Easter sunrise service, featuring speaker David Augsburger, professor of pastoral theology at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, with music by the 60-voice Sanctuary Choir of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church of Burbank, will be held at 6 a.m. at the Birth of Liberty Mosaic at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive. A MUSICAL CELEBRATION: Vocalist and recording artist Crystal Lewis will perform as part of Easter services at 10:10 a.m. Sunday under a 4,500-seat tent located at Shepherd of the Hills, 19700 Rinaldi St., Porter Ranch. REDISCOVERING HER HERITAGE: Trudi Alexi, author of “The Mezuzah in the Madonna’s Foot,” will discuss how she rediscovered her Jewish heritage. As a young girl, her family escaped from the Nazis by converting to Christianity and living in Spain. QUESTIONS ABOUT FAITH: A discussion titled, “What My Faith Tradition Tells Me About Missionary Activities: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” will be presented by an interfaith panel including Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz, founder and director of Jews for Judaism, Steven E. A STORY OF HEROISM: For years, Holocaust survivor Leopold Page told his story about the heroism of Oskar Schindler to many, but only author Thomas Keneally listened. Keneally’s novel, published in 1982, became the 1993 Oscar-winning film, “Schindler’s List,” directed by Steven Spielberg.
