Disney Program

Re “Disneyland Brings Back Program for the Disabled,” March 25: How selfish some people have become. They should be ashamed! Disneyland has, at its expense, set aside two weeks a year for 20 years giving discounts to the disabled, and when they choose to discontinue the program, they’re met with jeers.

Few quoted in your articles showed the slightest bit of gratitude for the years of benefiting from Disney’s generosity, just accusations that it was “all about money.” So what if it was about money? Disney doesn’t owe anyone in the community discount tickets for life.

Even now that Disney has reconsidered and put the program back into place, the common reaction has been, “I knew they’d fold under the pressure.” How disgusting.
