Two-Quarterback System at USC?

Nearing the halfway point of spring football practice, Coach John Robinson said USC might return to the two-quarterback system that took the Trojans to the 1996 Rose Bowl.
The candidates are sophomores John Fox and Quincy Woods, and redshirt freshman Mike Van Raaphorst.
“We’ve got three guys right now competing very well for the position,” Robinson said. “It’s possible we could go with two. The position played very well for us in ’95.”
He referred to the 9-2-1 team that defeated Northwestern in the Rose Bowl. Brad Otton and Kyle Wachholtz shared the quarterback position for most of that season.

Woods denied a rumor this week he was considering transferring to Oklahoma.
“It’s not true, I’ve never considered that,” he said.
Woods’ brother, Clovis, is an Oklahoma defensive back.
