Orange Coast magazine is getting some swankier digs. The chi-chi lifestyle magazine, headed by Ruth Ko, recently moved from its rented offices in a business park in Costa Mesa to a three-story office building in Newport Beach.

Ko purchased the 14,705-square-foot office building on Birch Street for $1.5 million. It will house employees of both Orange Coast magazine and Orange County Woman, a magazine scheduled to debut next month.
