TONIGHT’S GAME

ANGELS’

ALLEN WATSON

(0-1, 13.50 ERA)

vs.

TWINS’

RICH ROBERTSON

(1-0, 7.20 ERA)

* Update: Watson, acquired last winter from San Francisco for first baseman J.T. Snow, is still looking for his first quality start of the season after giving up four runs in 4 1/3 innings against Cleveland on April 4 and eight runs in 2 1/3 innings against New York on April 9. “The one thing I don’t want him to do is press,” Manager Terry Collins said. “He just needs to be himself and stay out of big innings. I’ve seen enough of this guy to know he has good stuff.” In Robertson, the Twins’ starter, the Angels will be facing the third starting left-hander in three days.

* Thursday, 10:15 a.m.: Dennis Springer (0-0, 10.29) vs. Brad Radke (0-1, 9.64).
