Airport Renamed for Bush

HOUSTON —
The City Council has voted unanimously to rename Houston Intercontinental Airport after former President Bush.
Despite Wednesday’s vote, the official abbreviation for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport-Houston will continue to be IAH.
Bush and his wife, Barbara, settled in Houston after they moved out of the White House in 1993.
