Charred Body of Woman Is Found
The charred body of a woman was found Friday in a burned vehicle in an alley.
The body was reported at about 5 p.m. by a business owner who found it in an alley behind the 14700 block of Arminta Street, said Officer Mike Partain, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Homicide detectives and an arson unit from the Los Angeles Fire Department were investigating late Friday, according to authorities.
Partain said the woman’s race, age and other information were not known and no motive had been determined.
There were no witnesses or suspects in the case, according to police.
