Amplicon’s Net Income Jumps 27%

Amplicon Inc., which leases computers and telecommunications equipment, posted net income of $4.2 million, or 71 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, 27% higher than the $3.3 million, or 57 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 rose 15% to $76.7 million from $66.8 million. Nine-month net income increased 22% to $11.2 million, or $1.91 a share, from $9.2 million, or $1.57 a share, from the year-earlier period. Revenue advanced 15% to $217.6 million from $188.9 million.
