Camera Platforms Reports $1.9-Million Loss

Camera Platforms International Inc. posted a wider loss last year while its revenues fell 23%.

The North Hollywood-based motion-picture film-equipment concern posted a net loss of $1.9 million last year, compared with a net loss of $851,000 in 1995.

Revenues last year fell to $3.3 million, compared to sales of $4.3 million in 1995.

In October, a Los Angeles investment group bought control of Camera Platforms and has since sold an unprofitable division, replaced some executives and reorganized its sales and marketing plans.
