Javelin Systems Inc.: The Tustin designer and developer of point-of-sale computers said it lost $57,426, or 2 cents a share, for the third quarter ended March 31, compared with a loss of $59,198, or 3 cents a share, for the third quarter a year ago. Revenue rose to $1.7 million from $275,238. For the first nine months, the company lost $849,643, or 33 cents a share, which included a noncash interest expense of $636,097 related to issuing private placement warrants. For the nine months a year earlier, the company lost $140,374, or 7 cents a share. Revenue increased to $4.3 million from $277,645. The company started business Sept. 19, 1995.
