Burger King Gets Deal for ‘Lost World’

Almost a year after a promotional alliance with Walt Disney Co. was terminated, Miami-based Burger King Corp. has teamed with Universal Studios to promote “The Lost World,” Steven Spielberg’s sequel to the box-office hit “Jurassic Park.” Disney had left Burger King for a 10-year promotional deal with McDonald’s Corp. A Burger King spokeswoman said the alliance with Disney is on a project-to-project basis and that Disney is looking for more of a commitment. Disney declined comment, and calls to Universal Studios were not returned.
