Janex International Trims Quarterly Loss

Janex International Inc.’s net loss narrowed to $304,885 in its first quarter, compared to a loss of $563,000 a year earlier.
The Woodland Hills manufacturer of children’s products reported sales of $1.7 million for the quarter that ended March 31, up 94% from $894,306 last year.
In the latest quarter, Janex’s interest expense also jumped more than eightfold to $125,729, compared to $14,795 a year earlier.
