Scosche Industries, an automotive radio accessory company, will move from Moorpark to a 62,000-square-foot facility that recently broke ground in the Channel Islands Business Center, according to Steve Kinney, president of the Greater Oxnard Economic Development Corp.
Upon completion of construction in December, Scosche will relocate its 75 employees to the new building at 1550 Pacific Ave., Oxnard. About 25 new positions will be created as a result of the move.
“Our business has been expanding at a rate of about 20% per year and we simply ran out of room,” said Roger Alves, president of Scosche.
Scosche produces specialized parts and accessories for the auto sound industry, plus technical training manuals, compact disc accessories and computer software for auto audio retailers.
