SAN JOSE — Authorities were searching Monday for a parking lot attendant at San Jose International Airport who disappeared during a late-night run to help a motorist in distress.
Jessica Marrufo, 31, disappeared at about 11 p.m. Sunday after she radioed her bosses that she was going to help someone jump-start a car, an airport spokeswoman said.
Officials say they have found the company car Marrufo drove to the long-term lot but have found no sign of her.
Airport officials said Marrufo works for APCOA, which contracts with the airport to provide parking services.
They did not know how long she has worked for the company.
