Hispanic Chamber Hosts Its 2nd Annual Job Fair

Representatives from more than two dozen companies have signed up to take part in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Job Recruitment Fair today.

Job seekers at all levels in fields including sales, customer services, marketing, accounting, light industrial, banking, clerical, reception and secretarial may attend the free public event.

Among corporations represented will be Bank of America, PacifiCare, Hyundai and Macy’s, as well as officials from the Los Angeles Police Department and the U.S. Navy.

“We are really excited about this,” said Tracy Wilson, a fair organizer. “Last year, we had about 1,000 people and are expecting even more this year.”

Job seekers should bring several resume copies and plan to spend about two hours with company representatives, organizers said.

The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Garden Grove Community Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
