Services Today for Slain Teenager

Services are planned this morning for Buena High School student James “Jake” Bush, 16, who died Tuesday after being stabbed by a burglar in his home.
The formal services will be at 11 a.m. at Ted Mayr Funeral Home at 3150 Loma Vista Road in Ventura.
Memorial donations may be made to a fund benefiting the Buena High School track team. Jake, a scholastic standout in math and sciences, also was a track team co-captain.
Donations may be sent to the James Bush Memorial Fund, Buena High School, 5670 Telegraph Road, Ventura 93003.
