Abuser’s Sentence
And our representatives in government and judges on the bench wonder why the public is so cynical? How does the average citizen reconcile reading “Man Gets Life Sentence for Spousal Abuse” (Aug. 2), and in the second paragraph reading: “He will be eligible for parole in seven years.”
All it does is convince the citizen that our representatives in Congress and members of the bench converse in doublespeak.
