Blue Line
As the Einsteins in the MTA ivory tower rack their brains to resolve the lack of capacity on the Blue Line (July 27), I cannot help but recall the story of the expensive Italian-made rail cars. The MTA has begun taking delivery on $145 million worth of rail cars for lines that have not yet been constructed and may never be completed (July 4). I suppose the MTA wouldn’t consider storing them on the Blue Line? BRIAN HUNT
