* Re “500 Virgins Extol ‘Purity’ at White House Stop,” Aug. 16:
As the father of three wonderful and spiritually minded daughters, I am a bit perplexed by the 500 virgins’ march on Washington.
What do you suppose they want--public assistance, recognition from the rest of us sinners or unlimited access to free birth control information?
Someone should remind them that a virtuous lifestyle is its own silent and anonymous reward.
