Bank Employees Help Fund Scholarships
Los Robles Bank has set up a fund to give five high school students $1,000 scholarships.
The fund is made up of weekly contributions by employees, which are matched by the bank. The bank, based in Thousand Oaks, has offices in that city as well as Westlake Village and Camarillo.
“We believe we will raise enough money this way to give at least five $1,000 scholarships a year to deserving high school students,” said Robert Hamilton, chief executive officer and president, adding that scholarship announcements will be made put on radio and in local newspapers.
