Freeway’s Left Lanes to Close for Project
Caltrans will close the left lanes of the northbound and southbound Ventura Freeway from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Fridays for road construction beginning Tuesday.
Lanes along a seven-mile stretch of the freeway between Johnson Drive and the Ventura River Bridge will be closed so the California Department of Transportation can remove a cable barrier to install a new concrete divider. The construction is expected to last into November.
