City Panel to Honor 2 School Officials

Two administrators of Walter Reed Middle School will be honored Thursday for their work in creating and maintaining the school’s human relations programs.

Principal Larry Tesh and Cluster Administrator Richard Alonzo will receive commendations from the Los Angeles City Human Relations Commission at the commission meeting, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the middle school, 4525 Irvine Ave.

The commission’s commendations are given to schools with a commitment to excellence in education and strong human relations programs.

A representative from Councilman John Ferraro’s office will present certificates of appreciation to Tesh and Alonzo.
