School Board Limits Remarks to 3 Minutes
Public comments at Fullerton School Board meetings now have a limit: three minutes per person.
A policy setting the limit passed last week on a 3-1 vote, a move trustees said they hope will shorten their lengthy and sometimes confrontational meetings. A total of 30 minutes will be allowed for public comment on matters not listed on the meeting agenda. Overall comments on each issue on the agenda will be cut off after 20 minutes.
The majority of the board said the time limits may help get meetings moving efficiently.
