Parents to Meet on Alcohol and Gangs

A meeting for parents on the hazards of alcohol, including malt liquor and fortified wine, and their connection with the potential for gang violence will be held Thursday at the Gomez Center, 1701 Atwood Ave.
The public meeting will offer community members ways to become involved in addressing these issues.
The Placentia Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Coalition will host the meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guest speakers will also discuss college opportunities and improvements in the Atwood community.
