KKBT-FM to Stage Holiday Toy Drive

Radio station KKBT-FM (92.3 the Beat) will collect toys, books, clothing and other items to distribute to needy children on Wednesday from 5:30 to 10 a.m. at the Beverly Center’s Hard Rock Cafe.
The station’s morning show, “John London and the House Party,” will broadcast live from the toy drive, which will include a complimentary breakfast for anyone who makes a gift or cash donation.
The items will go to the L.A. Children’s Toy Drive, an organization founded by actors Sheryl Lee Ralph and Denzel Washington, and will be distributed to kids living in homeless shelters, battered women’s homes, AIDS care centers and runaway houses.
