Pierce College Plans Reunion of ‘Pioneers’
- Share via
Pierce College is trying to find its “Lost Pioneers,” those who helped establish the then-small agricultural college in the late 1940s.
To bring an end to a yearlong series of events marking the college’s 50th anniversary, Pierce will honor the students, staff and faculty members of long ago at a two-day reunion in May.
The reunion festivities will begin May 20 with a reception, and will continue the next day during commencement for the class of 1998.
Students, faculty and staff members who attended or worked at Pierce between 1947--the year the campus opened--and 1950 are invited.
For more information, call Dorothy Rupert, dean of academic affairs, at (818) 719-6444.
