Bobcat Den
Re “Bobcat Den Halts Project,” Dec. 10.
What is this I read about Caltrans postponing dynamiting near a bobcat’s den? What? A public agency voluntarily inconveniencing itself to save the life of a non-taxpayer? A nonvoting one at that!
Next I’ll be reading that public funds will be used to help out the lowest echelon of our stratified society. What a gross injustice that would be.
If we continue to fritter away our public monies on things as trivial and inconsequential as the environment and respect for our land, how will we ever work out the real important things, like attracting a major football franchise to our fair city?
After reading the article, I sighed, “There may be hope for us after all.”
