Javelin Completes Deal

Javelin Systems Inc. said it has completed its purchase of two privately held companies, Posnet Computers of Huntington Beach and CCI Group of St. Louis, for stock. Javelin said it will issue 670,000 shares for CCI Group and 300,000 shares for Posnet. Javelin may issue additional shares for the Posnet purchase if the company meets certain unspecified production goals.
Javelin shares, which closed Tuesday at $9.13, are being issued in a private placement. The companies will operate as wholly owned subsidiaries of Javelin, which makes touch-screen computers. CCI Group and Posnet offer technology consulting and training services.
