Christmas Eve Closings
Today is Christmas Eve. These schedules will be in effect:
* County, state and federal offices will be open, but some may close early. Most city offices will be closed all day, and others will close early. Call for details.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be open regular hours.
* Libraries: County libraries will close at 5 p.m., and some city libraries will also close early. Call for details.
* Most banks and savings and loans will close early.
* Schools: Orange County public schools, community colleges, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine and Chapman University are closed for winter recess.
* Mail: Mail will be delivered, and post offices will be open regular hours.
* Trash: Trash will be picked up on regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open regular hours.
