A bank robber passed a note to a teller and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash Saturday morning from a Home Savings of America branch near Ventura and Topanga Canyon boulevards, police said.

No weapon was shown and no injuries were reported during the incident, said Lt. Tim Moss of the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division.

The thief entered the bank at 9:10 a.m., handed a note to a teller, took the money and fled, Moss said.
