Pacific Scientific Names Its New President, Financial Chief

NEWPORT BEACH — David L. Schlotterbeck has been named president and chief operating officer of Pacific Scientific Co., a Newport Beach manufacturer of electrical and safety equipment. He was formerly president and chief executive of VitalCom, a start-up networking company. Schlotterbeck’s experience also includes executive positions at Calcomp, a computer peripherals division of Lockheed-Martin, and Nellcor Inc., a medical device manufacturer.
In addition, Winston E. Hickman has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer. Hickman has held senior positions with Rockwell International Corp. and Allied-Signal. He also served as chief financial officer of Vans Inc.
