Space Available at Community Gallery

Share

Due to some last-minute cancellations, the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery finds itself in an unusual position: It has unexpected openings for the first time in its six-year history.

Local artists or educators interested in using the gallery space during August or September are urged to submit applications.

The city-owned building at 2331 Borchard Road offers more than 3,100 square feet of floor space and 3,500 square feet of wall space, which can be divided using movable kiosks. It is equipped with six 6-foot tables, 40 chairs, a phone and answering machine, and a security system, among other features.

The user fee for a full month’s use of the gallery is $575 for individual artists and $530 for nonprofit organizations. The fee covers all operating expenses, including utilities, cleaning and repairs, as well as liability insurance and marketing costs.

For applications and user fee information, call the gallery at 498-4390 or Stacy Minasian at 449-2117.
