4 Members of Crew Found Slain on Ship

Four crew members of a freighter anchored in the Miami River were found slain on their ship, a crime scene so bloody that police couldn’t say whether they had been stabbed or shot, a Metro-Dade Police detective said as officers removed the bodies of three men and a woman. A fifth crew member was injured, but he fled the ship and told a bystander to call police. He was taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. The Vanderpool Express arrived in Miami from Haiti on Saturday.
