William Vaughan Shaw; Leader in Environmental Design

William Vaughan Shaw, 73, an architect and co-founder with legendary photographer Ansel Adams of the Foundation for Environmental Design. A longtime resident of Pebble Beach, he was a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the American Academy in Rome, where he won the Prix de Rome in 1967 for environmental design.
