Sunstone Buys Hotel in Northwest

SAN CLEMENTE — Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. said it has acquired a hotel and land in Washington from Markland Hotel Inc. for $7.4 million. Sunstone said the 103-room Best Western Landmark Inn in Lynnwood, Wash., sits on 5.4 acres.
Sunstone, a real estate investment trust, said it is considering expansion, development and rebranding opportunities in connection with the site.
