Smith Technology Wins $1.9-Million Contract

NEWPORT BEACH — Smith Technology Corp. said Tuesday it has won a $1.9-million contract from Fresno County to remove old fuel tanks and install new ones and new fuel dispensing and management systems at 21 county storage sites. Smith’s Bakersfield office will handle the work, which is expected to begin next month and last through 1998.
Smith is an engineering, environmental remediation and construction firm with more than 1,000 employees in 30 offices nationwide.
