El Don Reporters Win 18 Fair Awards

Santa Ana College’s student newspaper, El Don, has won 18 awards, including four first-place honors, in the Orange County Fair’s Best Reporter Contest.
The first-place award winners were Theresa Hudzinski for best entertainment review and best sports personality profile; Christiana Jackson, best humorous column; and Monica Hernandez, best serious column.
College and university student journalists from across Orange County participated in this year’s competition. Also placing first were Agnes Diggs of Chapman University for a personality profile and Teresa Haines of Fullerton College for a travel story.
