600 Allegedly Pirated Videos Seized in Raid
The owner of a Montebello video store was arrested Thursday after police found about 600 allegedly pirated videotapes at his home and business, investigators said.
Montebello police, working with representatives of Encino-based Motion Picture Assn. of America, also seized 23 videotape machines while serving search warrants at Gala Video, 564 S. Greenwood Ave., and the Cleveland Avenue home of 54-year-old Arturo Villasenor Diaz, said Lt. Joe Juiliano.
