Medicare Auditors

Although I have never really believed in simplistic answers to complex problems, if the article on unrecoverable Medicare losses (July 18) is to be believed, all we would have to do to solve the Medicare cost problem is hire a few hundred competent auditors for the program and eliminate HMO risk contracts.
