Newport Coast Project to Be Discussed

A public hearing on plans for 102 homes in the Newport Coast Planned Community will be held Aug. 5.
The hearing will allow the public to voice support or opposition to the project, proposed by California Pacific Homes for 42 acres at Coast Highway and Sand Canyon Avenue.
The meeting will take place at 1 p.m. in the Planning Commission Hearing Room, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. County officials ask that any documents or written responses related to the project be submitted to the Planning and Development Services Department before Aug. 5.
