Disabled Students Display Skills at Family Fair
Dozens of preschoolers and kindergartners at Jefferson Orthopedically Handicapped School got a chance to show off the motor skills that they have gained over the last year at their annual family carnival Tuesday.
About 60 children participated in games such as a water balloon toss, bowling, a treasure hunt and basketball.
Students at the school have a wide range of disabilities.
Some are learning how to walk independently, others are learning to use wheelchairs or crutches.
