Pair From Building Company Are Slain

The deputy head of Moscow’s most powerful construction company, Glavmosstroi, was shot to death in his apartment building and a colleague was slain nearby, Russian news agencies reported. Yuri Titov, 52, was found in a hallway with five gunshot wounds to his chest and stomach. In his apartment, police found the body of a Glavmosstroi engineer, Vladimir Komissarov, 44, who had been stabbed to death, Itar-Tass said. Glavmosstroi, a branch of Moscow’s city government, receives about half of all construction contracts in the capital.
