NetManage Completes NetSoft Acquisition

NetManage Inc. said Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of Irvine-based NetSoft for $26 million in cash.

NetManage, which is based in Cupertino, said the combined organization will operate under the NetManage name.

Netsoft president and chief executive Patrick Linehan was named senior vice president and general manager of the core business unit at NetManage. Zvi Alon will retain the position of president and chief executive of NetManage.

NetSoft is a privately held maker of connecting software for personal computers. NetManage provides computer connecting systems.
