It’s More Than Just the Pie

Thanks for the great piece (no pun intended) by Anne Mendelson (“A Slice of Heaven,” Oct. 15). Her review of “Pie Every Day” was charming and made me want to buy the book, even though I am not much of a cook. I do, however, appreciate the human interest aspect of this book. What a great way for [author] Pat Willard to tell her story.
