Cal State Dominguez Hills Enrollment Hits New High

Share

Enrollment of full-time students at Cal State Dominguez Hills has reached an all-time high and will continue to rise over the next five years, university officials predicted.

This fall, 7,948 students registered for full-time status. The previous record for the 33-year-old Carson campus was set in the fall of 1992 when 7,923 full-time students enrolled.

University officials attribute the increase to growth in local school districts.

“We are certainly pleased with our enrollment figures,” said Boice Bowman, vice president of student affairs. “It shows that there is still a great demand for the programs we offer at the university.”
